Search interest in Telegrass outlived the platform by years. 27 of its operators were indicted following the March 2019 arrests, over conduct prosecutors described as brokering between thousands of sellers and roughly 200,000 buyers. The network kept operating in fragments until a 2023 closure announcement, with nothing resembling a successor structure since.
What is verifiable today is the Ministry of Health's own register: 420 dispensing addresses, 544 registered products, each one capped by a T/C code that states its THC and CBD ceiling.

What does "Buy Weed Telegram" mean?
A search phrase left over from the Telegrass network, raided in March 2019 and closed by its operators in 2023. It now loosely means finding cannabis in Israel through Telegram. The only lawful route is a medical cannabis licence.
Is cannabis legal in Israel?
Medical cannabis is legal with a licence. Since April 2022, possession for personal use by an adult civilian is treated as an administrative offence carrying a fine, with exclusions for minors, soldiers and prisoners. Trade, supply and brokering remain serious criminal offences.
Can tourists buy cannabis in Israel?
No: the licence process runs through an Israeli physician for an Israeli patient. Nothing in the system offers a lawful path for a tourist.
