Where the phrase comes from
"Telegrass" is a closed case, not a live brand. Police broke the network's leadership in a single raid on 12 March 2019, after an eighteen-month covert investigation; the operation survived in a fragmented form until its own operators shut it down in 2023. Nobody currently running a Telegram cannabis group has any tie to that structure.
The register that replaced it in practice never claimed to be secret: 420 dispensing addresses in 120 localities, each reachable only through a licensed physician and a matching prescription.

What does "Buy Weed Israel" mean?
A search phrase left over from the Telegrass network, raided in March 2019 and closed by its operators in 2023. It now loosely means finding cannabis in Israel through Telegram. The only lawful route is a medical cannabis licence.
Is cannabis legal in Israel?
With a licence, yes. Personal-use possession by an adult civilian has been an administrative offence carrying a fine, not a criminal one, since April 2022, with minors, soldiers and prisoners excluded from that regulation. Trade, supply and brokering are still treated as serious crimes regardless of payment.
Can tourists buy cannabis in Israel?
No. Licences are issued to Israeli patients through Israeli physicians. There is no lawful route for visitors.
